PROCESS FOR HIRING MINISTRY STAFF

Thank you for your interest in a staff position with Impact Campus Ministries. This page will give a brief overview of the hiring process. Everything must be completed per the instructions on the application before our hiring process can begin.


THE PROCESS

Step 1: Application

When you are ready to submit your application, please do so with the form at the bottom of this page.

Step 2: Formal Interview

The applicant will be contacted for a formal interview after all application materials have been received and processed. This is often done via video call.

Step 3: Assessment Process

This process is determined by Impact’s Executive Team and often varies by the needs of the individual and the position being sought. It may include, but is not limited to, any of the following:

  • Formal, face-to-face interviews

  • Background checks

  • Extended individual or group assessments

  • Various forms of analysis (e.g., personality profiles, spiritual gifting assessments, etc.)

*There may be expenses associated with the assessment stage of the process.

 

Step 4: Report and Decision

An assessment report will be shared with the applicant. If applicable, the assessment report may include an invitation to advance to the placement phase.

Step 5: Placement Phase

During the placement phase, the Executive Team and applicant will discern together what location is the best fit for the applicant. This may include visiting at least two campus locations. The applicant may also begin training in support-raising. This phase concludes when a location is agreed upon and a formal offer letter is signed.
